THE CHALLENGE

Political campaigns run on tight timelines, shifting messaging, and zero margin for error. Materials go to print before a candidate's position evolves, and a design inconsistency at scale across hundreds of mailers or a wall of yard signs can undermine the visual authority a campaign depends on. Southern Majority needed a creative lead who could hold the visual strategy together across multiple concurrent campaigns while managing outside vendors and freelancers.

THE APPROACH

I worked directly with candidates to translate their positioning into cohesive visual identities building systems that could flex across formats without losing coherence. For each campaign, that meant establishing a clear visual language early and then applying it consistently whether the asset was a walk card, a banner, or a digital presentation deck. I also managed the freelance designers and vendors responsible for production, keeping creative quality consistent from brief to final output even under compressed deadlines.

THE WORK

Print materials spanning direct mail, yard signs, walk cards, and large-format banners. Digital presentations for candidate briefings and stakeholder communication. The Macon-Bibb Forward Mayoral Transition Report a formal publication designed to communicate the incoming administration's priorities with authority and clarity.

WHAT IT SHOWED

The ability to lead creative across high-stakes, fast-moving projects managing up to candidates, managing out to vendors, and maintaining a consistent visual standard when every piece represents a real person running for office.
